Title:
ROTOR FOR PERMANENT-MAGNET MOTOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3464604
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the size and weight of a motor or generator, by providing a rotor hub which is engaged with a plurality of electrode pieces arranged by adjusting angles and, at the same time, radially positions the electrode pieces at angles, and a plurality of permanent magnets arranged among electrode pieces.
SOLUTION: A set of rotor hub radially positioning surfaces 2 adjust the radial positions of the electrode pieces 3 of a rotor against a rotating shaft. The electrode pieces 3 are attached to a rotor hub 1 in a state where the pieces 3 are radially inserted into a hub core. The pieces 3 are fixed to the hub core by inserting two tapered keys 5 each composed of a plurality of members having a superimposed form in the axial direction from one end face or both end faces of a rotor assembly. When the keys 5 are driven into prescribed positions, the keys 5 act as wedges for making the accurate orientation of the electrode pieces 3 in connection with positioning surfaces 2 and 4. Therefore, the size and weight of a motor or generator can be reduced.
