Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the starting characteristics of a permanent-magnet rotary electric machine.
SOLUTION: In a rotor 3 of a permanent magnet rotary electric machine, a permanent magnet 6 is provided each at both the sides of a magnetic pole part 4a of a core 4, and a magnetic conductor bar (conductor) 7 is provided near the outer peripheral surface of the magnetic pole part 4a. An induced electromotive force is generated in the conductor bar 7 that is provided at the outer peripheral part of the rotor 3 due to electromagnetic induction, thus facilitating self startup.
