To exploit the ultimate capability of a motor while pursuing a high torque or high efficiency in a rotor of the permanent-magnet motor, constituted such that an interval between an accommodating hole 3 and the external periphery of an iron core 1, is wide at the center of each of the accommodating holes and narrow at both ends.
Gaps 4 bent for the extended line of a cross-sectional contour of a permanent magnet 2 are provided on both the ends of each of the accommodating holes 3. This gaps 4 form a radial iron core 8 on an inter-pole with an adjacent pole, and a bridge-like iron core 5 with the external periphery of the iron core so that they remain. In each pole, the gaps 4 are formed so as to protrude to a range, narrower than the opening angle of the permanent magnet 2.
