Abstract:
To enable polishing an outer circumferential surface of a rotor having high concentricity with the outer circumferential surface of the rotor and the outer circumferential surface of the shaft, enable suppressing vibration of the rotor with the rotation, enable polishing the outer circumferential surface of the rotor having superior roundness and surface roughness, and enable polishing the outer circumferential surface of the rotor with high accuracy.SOLUTION: A device for polishing a rotor for an electric motor is equipped with: a rotor support mechanism part A with an opposing pair of V-shaped shaft receiving parts capable of rotatably supporting both ends of a shaft S of the rotor R of the electric motor, respectively; a rotational drive mechanism part B with an endless driving belt B1 coming in repression contact with an outer circumferential surface of the rotor and rotating the rotor; a retracting mechanism part C for retracting the rotational drive mechanism part from a drive position K where the driving belt comes in contact with the rotor to the retracted position where the driving belt is separated from the rotor; and a polishing mechanism part D with a polishing tape T for polishing the outer circumferential surface of the rotor.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
