Title:
ROTOR POSITION DETECTOR OF SWITCHING RELUCTANCE MOTOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3310043
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To eliminate a relative error caused, when a plurality of sensors are used by detecting the position of a rotor with only one sensor, and then driving a motor.
CONSTITUTION: Each time a sensor of a sensor section 100 detects the position of a rotor and each phase is driven, a clock pulse of one cycle is output as a position detection signal. In a drive control pulse generating section 400, drive signals for respective phases are shifted successively by the position detection signal, and thereby a drive control pulse for each phase is generated. Then, phases are successively excited by the drive control pulses in a phase exciting section 500, and thereby the motor is driven. By this method, the rotary position of the motor can be detected with only one sensor and the motor driven. Therefore, a relative error can be eliminated which is generated when a plurality of sensors are used.
