Abstract:
To provide a rotor for a rotary electric machine capable of reducing material cost of an adhesive by reducing the quantity of the adhesive to be used for filling a gap between a rotary core and a permanent magnet in order to fix the permanent magnet.SOLUTION: A rotor core 2 comprises: a magnet insertion hole 5 in which an inserted permanent magnet 3 is fixed by an adhesive 7; an inner diameter side flux barrier hole 6a provided in an end of the magnet insertion hole 5 at an inner diameter side; an outer diameter side flux barrier hole 6b provided in an end of the magnet insertion hole 5 at an outer diameter side; and an inner diameter side columnar member 4a and an outer diameter side columnar member 4b which are provided among the inner diameter side flux barrier hole 6a, the outer diameter side flux barrier hole 6b and the permanent magnet 3.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
