Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a degree of freedom in designing a rotor core.SOLUTION: A rotor 16 of an electric motor is fixed onto a shaft 12 and comprises a holding member 18 for holding a rotor core 22 in an outer periphery. The holding member 18 includes: a fitting part 20 which is fitted to the shaft 12; a cylindrical part 24 which is formed cylindrical and to which the rotor core 22 is fitted externally; and a disk part 26 in a disk shape which is connected to one side end of the cylindrical part 24 in an axial direction for connecting the cylindrical part 24 and the fitting part 20. An outer diameter of a small diameter part 28 that is positioned at one side in an axial direction on an outer peripheral surface of the cylindrical part 24 is set smaller than an outer diameter of a large diameter part 30 that is positioned at the other side in the axial direction on the outer peripheral surface of the cylindrical part 24.
