Abstract:
To provide a rotor of a rotary electric machine which can facilitate press-fit of a shaft member into a cylindrical member, and the rotary electric machine.SOLUTION: A rotor of a rotary electric machine comprises: a cylindrical member 16; a permanent magnet 17 placed inside the cylindrical member 16; and a first shaft member 20 having a first insertion part 21 press-fit into the cylindrical member 16. The rotor of the rotary electric machine comprises a conical surface Is1 whose diameter is gradually expanded as advancing toward the inside of the cylindrical member 16 from a first end 16a of the cylindrical member 16 in a direction in which an axis of the cylindrical member 16 extends at the closer side to the first end 16a of the cylindrical member 16 than the permanent magnet 17 of an inner peripheral surface Is of the cylindrical member 16. A peripheral surface of the first insertion part 21 includes a conical surface Os whose diameter is gradually expanded as advancing toward a first end 20a of the first insertion part 21 in a direction in which an axis of the first shaft member 20 extends.
