Abstract:
To provide a rotor and a rotary electric machine that alleviates stress increase even when an axial ventilation path is provided at a bottom of a rotor slot.SOLUTION: A squirrel-cage shaped rotor of a squirrel-cage shaped inductive rotary machine includes a rotor shaft, a rotor core 12 in which a plurality of rotor slots 70 are formed, and a plurality of secondary conductors 15. An inner axial direction flow path 70f of the rotor core is formed inside the rotor slot 70 in a radial direction. The rotor slot 70 includes a holding portion inner side surface 72, two slot side surfaces 71, and a slot bottom curved surface 74 forming the inner axial flow direction path 70f of the rotor core. The slot side surface 71 and the slot bottom curved surface 74 have continuous radial inclinations, the inclination with respect to the radial direction from the slot side surface 71 to the center of the slot bottom curved surface 74 in the circumferential direction increase monotonically, and the radial inclination of a slot connecting surface 75 connecting the slot side surface 71 and the slot bottom curved surface 74 is smaller than the radial inclination of a secondary conductor connecting surface 15b connecting a secondary conductor side surface 15a and the secondary conductor bottom surface 15c.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
