PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotor which can facilitate manufacturing.SOLUTION: The rotor includes: a rotary shaft 51 having a knurled portion 51a at an intermediate portion in the longitudinal direction; and a rotor core 52 externally fitted and fixed to the knurled portion 51a. The lengths of non-knurled portions 51b, 51c on which the knurled portions 51a are not formed on the opposite end sides of the rotary shaft 51 are different from each other, and the grooves 51d, 51e having different shapes are provided on one axial end surface and the other axial end surface.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
