Abstract:
To provide a rotor for a squirrel-cage induction rotary electric machine capable of making the region other than a region where a conductor is disposed, into a cavity in a slot while preventing the conductor from moving in a radial direction.SOLUTION: A rotor 100 (a rotor for a squirrel-cage induction rotary electric machine) comprises an annular end ring 15 (cast connection), which is formed by casting, for electrically connecting axially protruding parts 14b of conductors 14 protruding from a plurality of slots 13 with each other. The rotor 100 also comprises an annular ring member 16 provided to cover a cavity part 13a in the axial direction in an end 10a (10b) of a rotor core 10 and including a plurality of projecting parts 16a protruding toward the axially protruding parts 14b. Each of the plurality of projecting parts 16a is fitted into a recessed part 14d provided on a side face 14c (conductor side face) radially outside of the axially protruding part 14b.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
