Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent a snap ring, which suppresses vibration of a rotor such as a gear, pulley, from rotating in the circumferential direction along the bottom surface of a ring-shaped groove provided in the rotor.
CONSTITUTION: A snap ring 22 is fitted in and detained with a ring-shaped groove 20 provided in the body of a gear and is put in pressure contact with the bottom surface of the groove 20. A turn stopper block 26 fixed to the gear body is installed in the joint part 22a of the snap ring 22 so that it is prevented from rotating solely.
