Abstract:
PURPOSE: To improve the vibration characteristics and to realize an optimal temperature control at a sealed part.
CONSTITUTION: The rotor 20 of a superconducting electric rotating machine has a hollow structure on one end side thereof and a stationary part tubular body 21 is arranged therein at least through a bearing 28 and a seal mechanism. Since a highly rigid rotor 20 is realized, the stationary tubular body 21 can be reduced in diameter and thereby the weight thereof.
