Title:
ROTOR OF SUPERCONDUCTING ROTARY ELECTRIC MACHINE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS62213563
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To improve the cooling performance of a superconducting rotary electric machine by inserting first filler having a plurality of elliptical holes of slot lateral direction to between a superconducting field coil and a wedge, and further inserting a second filler having a through-hole.

CONSTITUTION: The rotor of a superconductive rotary electric machine is composed of a coil mounting shaft 2 having a helium flowing hole 21, a superconducting field coil 3, a helium outer cylinder 6, a liquid helium reservoir 15, a wedge 18, etc. In this case, a first filler 22 inserted between the coil 3 and the wedge 18 and having small elliptical hole 22a of slot lateral direction, and a second filler 23 inserted between the filler 22 and the wedge 18 and having a through hole 23a of larger diameter in lateral size communicating with the hole 22a are provided. Thus, helium is fed to the periphery of the coil 3 through the holes 22a and 23a to a helium passage 20. As a result, the heat can be rapidly removed at any position of the coil 3.
