Abstract:
PURPOSE:To prevent the occurrence of superconductive damage by inserting more than two insulating plates between the side surface of a superconductive field coil and an insulator when the coil is contained through the insulator into the slot of a coil mounting shaft. CONSTITUTION:When a superconductive field coil 3 is contained in a slot of a coil mounting shaft 2 through an insulator 18, at least more than two insulating plates 21 are inserted between the side surface of the coil 3 and the insultor 18 in the slot. In this case, the plates 21 may be formed in a wedge shape. In this manner, the coil 3 can be fixedly secured.
