Abstract:

To provide a rotor torque predictor capable of reducing the number of inputs necessary for prediction by simplifying an approach of an algorithm for predicting a demand of a rotor to the engine.

In a system, feedforward prediction is carried out on a demand for rotor torque to the helicopter engine. The system is provided with a flight control computer composed so as to predict torque demanded at a main rotor and a tail rotor, and an engine fuel control system composed so as to acquire a demanded engine acceleration/deceleration ratio by calculating a rate of change of total torque and converting the rate of change of the total torque into the engine acceleration/deceleration ratio.
