PURPOSE: To maintain wear-resistance of rotor vanes for a rotary compressor for a long period of time so as to avoid damage by molding rotor vanes disposed in sockets with a composition comprising about 22-32 weight % of carbon fiber.

CONSTITUTION: A chamber containing a rotor having rotor vanes is arranged in a housing. The rotor vanes are disposed in sockets, spaced apart radially around the rotor. The rotor vanes are molded of a composition comprising about 22-32 weight % of carbon fiber. The lubricant is polytetrafluoroethylene, comprising about 5-12 weight % of said composition. Thus the rotor vanes are provided with long-time wear-resistance and will not easily be damaged.
