Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin composition for rotor wire protection good in viscosity at initial and after melting, excellent in impregnation property and thick coating property, excellent in moldability and in which a coil wound in a slot of a core or projecting to both terminals of the core can be prevented from abrasion or breaking by debris or a contact or the like of coils due to high speed rotation, and a rotor excellent in durability using the resin composition.SOLUTION: There is provided a resin composition for rotor wire protection containing (A) an epoxy resin, (B) dicyandiamide or a derivative thereof, (C) organic bentonite and (D) a glass fiber, and having the content of the (D) component of 10 to 100 pts.mass based on 100 pts.mass of the (A) component.SELECTED DRAWING: None
