Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a shroud to a rotor which does not need to have a driving part and a pitch angle changing mechanism in its central part.
CONSTITUTION: A rotor 2 has a shroud part 1 along the turning circle of blades 3 at their tips. Electromagnets 5 are placed in the shroud 1. Permanent magnets 4 are interposed at the tip parts of the blades 3. The blades 3 are rotated by a rotating magnetic field generated from the electromagnets 5.
