The route guidance information provider comprises means 111 for storing vista images in the running direction, means 112 for storing landmark data to be displayed on a route guidance map, means 113 for storing background data such as roads, railways, rivers indicated on the route guidance map, means 102 for generating route guidance information by utilizing data stored in these storing means, means 103 for generating animated route guidance providing data to be provided for the user's terminal from the generated route guidance information, and communicating means 101 for transmitting the generated route guidance providing data to the user' s terminal.
