To confirm an AS at which route information of a temporary handling route has arrived.
When the route monitoring device of each AS detects a hijack route 401 in a routing table of a route information processing device, it searches for a route (temporary handling route) which is included in an IP address space in the hijack route and whose AS number of the origin AS is identical to that of the origin AS indicated in monitoring object route information. When the temporary handling route is detected here, the route monitoring device transmits the route information related to the detected temporary handling route and the AS number of the AS to which the route information processing device belongs to a terminal of a network administrator.
