Abstract:

To search for a route suiting user's taste according to a situation when a route search device searches for a travel route.

Route matching rate calculation means calculates, by a plurality of route search algorithms, route matching rates as rates of matching between searched routes searched by the route search algorithms and actual travel routes that the user traveled in the past. Further, user's taste degree calculation means calculates user's taste degrees associated with the algorithms in a plurality of states based upon results of questionnaires associated with route search that the user inputs in advance. Algorithm evaluation means evaluates the respective algorithms in the same state by putting together the route matching rates by the algorithms in the state and user's taste degrees. For the route search, a route search algorithm having the highest evaluation in the same state as or a state similar to a current state is selected to search for a route to a destination.
