Abstract:
To specify avoidance of roads in an area altogether when there is an area not wanted to travel through.
A rectangular range is accepted as an avoidance range on a displayed map. The roads passing through the received evasion range are excluded from searching objects and a route to a destination is searched. Since a user specifies the roads not wanted to travel as a geographical range, in the case that the range not wanted to travel is present, all the roads not wanted to travel included in the range are easily specified altogether.
