PURPOSE: To reduce revision of connected exchange translation information resident in the inside of an exchange by utilizing a satellite communication network.

CONSTITUTION: An exchange station 101 receiving a connection request from a general communication network 111 sends a connection request to a satellite communication network 110 to connect a data line 104 to data lines 105, 106 and then the exchange station 101 sends a connection request to all exchange stations 101-103. The exchange stations 102, 103 sends a reply signal to the exchange station 101 when the reception of a call is available in response to the received connection request. The exchange station 101 receiving the reply signal acquires a 64KBPS line toward a reply signal transmission station and sends a connection request to the satellite communication network 110.
