Abstract:
To provide a route setting system allowing a train operator to perform setting of the advancing route by adding a wireless communicating function to an electronic interlocking device.
When the departing track data and arriving track data are entered into a portable wireless terminal unit 4 by the train operator, the terminal unit 4 transmits these pieces of data to a wireless base station 3 as a route request telegraphic message. The electronic interlocking device 2 controls site apparatuses 5 and 6 on the basis of the route request telegraphic message received by the base station 3 and opens the advancing route. Thereafter the device 2 transmits a route opening telegraphic message to the terminal unit 4 via the base station 3.
