Abstract:
To provide a method for maintaining the freshness of royal jelly.
Since originating from natural substances, the royal jelly to be formulated with a health food or the like has problems such as the difference of efficacy for each lot and the deterioration of the royal jelly itself. Thereby, it is desired to supply the royal jelly having a stable quality. The formulation of a royal jelly composition with a Hibiscus extract enables the inhibition of the activity of protease in the royal jelly, the stabilization of a protein having a mol.wt. of 57 kilo Dalton as a physiologically active substance, the maintenance of the freshness of the royal jelly, and the stabilization of the quality.
