PURPOSE: To provide a rubber article (e.g. a tire, an air spring, or a driving belt) which contains a basic, amino-group-contg., arom. antioxidant and has letters, numerals, trade marks, figures, etc., and of which the nonblack surface contains inorg. acidic components and hence does not discolor.

CONSTITUTION: A rubber article (a tire, an air spring, or a driving belt) contg. a basic, amino-group-contg., arom. antioxidant and having letters, numerals, trade marks, figures, etc., is provided wherein the nonblack surface present on all the side surfaces of the article contains an acidic absorbent (e.g. precipitated silicic acid, an acidic carbon black, or aluminum hydroxide) and inorg. acidic components pref. contained in a precipitate of a porous substance (e.g. zeolite, carbon black, active carbon, or wood flour).
