Abstract:
To provide a rubber composition that has an improved low stickiness and low friction and is fitted to be used for a backside surface of a rubber layer of lower side cover of an air surfacing-type conveyer belt and to provide an air surfacing-type conveyer belt using the rubber composition.
The rubber composition for an air surfacing-type conveyer belt contains a rubber component comprised of a natural rubber (NR) and a styrene-butadiene copolymer (SBR) and the rubber component contains the natural rubber of 20-75 mass% and the styrene-butadiene copolymer of less than 80 mass% and at least 25 mass%.
