Abstract:
To provide a rubber composition for a bead filler, which is excellent in processability and is capable of improving steering stability of a pneumatic tire when used as a bead filler.SOLUTION: The rubber composition for a bead filler contains 40-100 pts.mass of carbon black having a nitrogen adsorption specific surface area NSA of 60-150 m/g, 7-25 pts.mass of a cardanol oligomer, and 0.05-0.5 pt.mass of an organic acid metal salt in terms of metal based on 100 pts.mass of a diene rubber comprising 50-80 pts.mass of a natural rubber and 20-50 pts.mass of a styrene-butadiene rubber and also contains 5-20 mass% of hexamethylenetetramine based on 100 mass% of the cardanol oligomer.SELECTED DRAWING: None
