Abstract:

To obtain a rubber composition that has improved heat resistance and crack resistance while controlling damage of roll processability and molding adhesion.

The rubber composition comprises a polymer component composed of ≥90 wt.% of an ethylene-propylene copolymer rubber, ≥6 parts wt. of a mercaptobenzimidazole-based antioxidant and ≥0.5 part wt. of stearic acid based on 100 parts wt. of the ethylene-propylene copolymer rubber and is crosslinked with an organic peroxide-based crosslinking agent and an ethylene glycol dimethacrylate-based cocrosslinking agent.
