Abstract:

To provide a rubber composition for fenders that is excellent in adhesion to iron, thermal aging resistance and stain resistance, and provide a fender.SOLUTION: A rubber composition for fenders contains a rubber component containing natural rubber and butadiene rubber, and carbon black. A content of butadiene rubber is 40 mass% or less in a total amount of the rubber component, a total content of natural rubber and butadiene rubber 90 mass% or more in the total amount of the rubber component, and a content of carbon black is 30-60 pts.mass relative to 100 pts.mass of the rubber component. The rubber composition for fenders is substantially free of an aroma oil with CA% of 25% or more, obtained by composition analysis by the Kurtz method, and is also substantially free of an amine age resister. There is also provided a fender formed using the rubber composition for fenders.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
