Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a rubber compsn. which is highly resistant to a CFC and a refrigerator oil and does not accelerate the degradation of a refrigerator oil, e.g. the hydrolysis of an ester oil, and to obtain a molded item from the same.
CONSTITUTION: A cross-linked rubber compsn. for a CFC and/or a refrigerator oil is based on a nitrile rubber and contains a compd. represented by the formula (wherein R1 is H or alkyl; R2 is alkyl or phenyl; R3 is alkyl, alkoxy, or alkenyloxy; and n is 1 or 2). Since the compd. is bonded to the nitrile rubber to sufficiently cross-link the rubber and deactivates impurities in the rubber, the compsn. exhibits a high resistance to a CFC or a refrigerator oil.
