Abstract:

To provide a curable rubber composition which gives a high-strength cured product with improved, toughness and strength without influences of a water content, with a high curing rate and having excellent weathering resistance.

This rubber composition contains an ethylene-α olefin- unconjugated polyene random copolymerized rubber, (B) an epoxy resin, (C) a silicon compound which contains a functional group capable of reacting with an epoxy group, and a hydrolytic silyl group, in a molecule, and (D) a silicon compound having at least two hydroxy groups bonded to a silicon atom in a molecule.
