Abstract:
To provide a rubber composition which can achieve the reduction in rolling resistance caused by the lightening of a tire and the improvement of its wear resistance on high levels, a method for producing the same, and a pneumatic tire using the rubber composition.
The rubber composition comprises: a rubber component (A) made of diene-based rubber; and a filler (B), and in which, provided that its actual density obtained by an A method in JIS K6268 is defined as dc, and the density and mass fraction of an i component by constituent analysis are defined as di and i, respectively, the relation in the following inequality (1) is satisfied: 0.970≤dc.Σ(i/di)≤0.980...(1), and the filler (B) at least comprises silica.
