Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber composition capable of achieving both an excellent vulcanizing property and low heat generation, and a pneumatic tire using the same.SOLUTION: There is provided a rubber composition containing diene rubber (A), silica (B), a silane coupling agent (C) and acid modified polyolefin (D), where the diene rubber (A) contains an aromatic vinyl-conjugated diene copolymer rubber of 30 mass% or more, the acid modified polyolefin (D) has at least one kind of repeating unit selected from a group consisting of propylene, 1-butene and 1-octene, the content of the silica (B) is 5 to 150 pts.mass based on 100 pts.mass of the diene rubber (A) and the content of the total of the silane coupling agent (C) and the acid modified polyolefin (D) is 5 to 30 pts.mass based on 100 pts.mass of the diene rubber (A).
