Abstract:
To provide a rubber composition capable of giving a rubber crosslinked product excellent in rolling resistance and wear resistance.SOLUTION: The rubber composition is provided which contains a diene rubber, a hydrocarbon resin hydride, and silica. The content of the hydrocarbon resin hydride is 1-30 pts.mass based on 100 pts.mass of the diene rubber. The content of the silica is 80-200 pts.mass based on 100 pts.mass of the diene rubber. The hydrocarbon resin hydride is obtained by hydrogenating a hydrocarbon resin containing an aliphatic monomer unit and an aromatic monomer unit and has a hydrogenation rate within the range of 0.1-80%, a weight average molecular weight (Mw) within the range of 700-6,000, and a softening point within the range of 80-150°C.SELECTED DRAWING: None
