Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a rubber composition excellent in heat resistance and oil resistance, etc., useful as protective tubing for automobile, etc., by mixing a hydrogenated acrylonitrile-butadiene copolymer and a crystalline polyolefin composition containing maleic anhydride in a specific ratio.
SOLUTION: This composition comprises a mixture of (A) a hydrogenated acrylonitrile-butadiene copolymer and (B) a crystalline polyolefin composition containing maleic anhydride in weight ratio of (A):(B)=40:60-70:30 as main components. The component (B) is preferably a mixture of an olefin-maleic anhydride copolymer and a crystalline polyolefin having 0.890-0.920g/cm3 of densitiy and modulus of stiffness less than 900kg/cm2. For example, the extrusion of this composition into a tubular form and cross-linking gives a protective tube.
