Abstract:
Provided is a rubber composition which can give a tire that exhibits excellent abrasion resistance and crack resistance without impairing fuel economy. The rubber composition contains: a filler (A), which includes carbon black (A1) having a CTAB specific surface area of 30-150 m2/g and silica (A2) having a CTAB specific surface area of 210 m2/g or more; a rubber component (B), which includes a diene-based polymer that constitutes a continuous phase and a diene-based polymer that constitutes a non-continuous phase and exhibits affinity for the filler (A); and a fatty acid metal salt (C). The content of the filler (A) is 30-80 parts by mass relative to 100 parts by mass of the rubber component (B). The ratio of the content (a1) of the carbon black (A1) and the content (a2) of the silica (A2) is such that a1:a2 = 70-95:30-5.
