Abstract:
To provide a rubber composition which enables manufacture of a sheet conveyance roller that is excellent in a coefficient of friction and abrasion resistance.SOLUTION: A rubber composition for a sheet conveyance roller contains an ethylene-αolefin-diene copolymer as a base material rubber, a sulfur-based crosslinking agent, and a coumarone-indene resin. The rubber composition for the sheet conveyance roller is preferably obtained by mixing the base material rubber and the coumarone-indene resin at a temperature equal to or higher than a softening point of the coumarone-indene resin and preparing a mixture, and mixing the mixture with the sulfur-based crosslinking agent.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
