Abstract:

To provide a rubber composition for a sidewall that exhibits an enhanced balance between chipping/cutting resistance and a heat build-up property of the sidewall.

The rubber composition for the sidewall comprises 10-60 wt.% of a butadiene rubber, having dispersed therein a syndiotactic 1,2-polybutadiene having an average primary particle size of at most 100 nm, in the rubber component.
