Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber composition for sidewalls which, while considering the influence on environment and health, can reduce an odor, can inhibit deterioration in appearance such as brown discoloration (browning) due to the bloom of an age resister and whitening due to the bloom of wax and also improve weather resistance, and further improve tire performance such as fuel economy and flexing crack-growth resistance, and a pneumatic tire having a sidewall prepared using the same.SOLUTION: A rubber composition for sidewalls comprises a rubber component and wax derived from citrus.
