Abstract:
To provide a rubber composition for tire inner liner causing no decline in its rupture properties while improving its gas-barrier tendency.
The rubber composition comprises a butyl rubber matrix phase and a dispersed phase of natural rubber and/or isoprene rubber, wherein the distribution ratio for clay mineral contained in the dispersed phase and the matrix phase (the clay mineral level per area in the dispersed phase/that in the matrix phase) stands at 1.5-2.5.
