Abstract:
To provide a pneumatic tire for competition which is required to have various performances, especially, excellent steering stability (dry grip performance) on a dry road surface in high-speed running.SOLUTION: A rubber composition for tire tread is obtained by blending 80-250 pts.mass of carbon black having a nitrogen adsorption area (N2SA) of 120 m2/g or more, 15 pts.mass or more of liquid aromatic vinyl-conjugated diene-based rubber having a weight average molecular weight of 2,000-40,000 and a glass transition temperature (Tg) of -25°C or higher, and 3-40 pts.mass of a phenol resin in which 15 mass% or more thereof is modified with cashew oil, with respect to 100 pts.mass of diene-based rubber containing 80 pts.mass or more of styrene-butadiene copolymer rubber.SELECTED DRAWING: None
