Abstract:
To provide a rubber composition for a tire tread, capable of achieving both wet grip performance at a high temperature (25°C) and wet grip performance at a low temperature (5°C).SOLUTION: The rubber composition for the tire tread according to an embodiment contains 80-140 pts.mass of silica and 15-50 pts.mass of a terpene phenol resin and/or a styrenic resin having a softening point of 120°C or higher and a glass transition temperature of 70°C or higher with respect to 100 pts.mass of a diene rubber containing 30-100 pts.mass of a styrene-butadiene rubber and having an average glass transition temperature of -35°C or lower.SELECTED DRAWING: None
