Abstract:
To provide a rubber composition for tires excellent in steering stability, and a pneumatic tire using the same.SOLUTION: The rubber composition for tires contains a rubber component, silica, and a compound represented by the following formula (I), and the acetone extraction amount of the rubber composition is less than 16.0 mass%. (In the formula (I), R1 represents a hydrocarbon group; R2 and R3 are the same or different and each represent a hydrogen atom, a hydrocarbon group, or an -(AO)n-H group (n represents an integer of 1 or more, each n of R2 and R3 may be the same or different, and AO is the same or different and represents a C2 or higher oxyalkylene group); and at least one of R2 and R3 is an -(AO)n-H group.)SELECTED DRAWING: None
