Abstract:
To solve the problem that wet grip performance cannot be improved without deteriorating wear resistance though a high performance tire contains large amounts of a high specific surface area filler and a high softening point resin because of attaching importance to wet grip performance in particular.SOLUTION: A rubber composition for tires is obtained by blending 100 pts.mass of a diene rubber with: 3-80 pts.mass of a thermoplastic resin obtained by copolymerizing styrene, indene and dicyclopentadiene; and 30-200 pts.mass of silica.SELECTED DRAWING: None
