Abstract:
To provide a rubber composition for tires which has practically sufficient steering stability and has enhanced durability by improving rupture characteristics.SOLUTION: The rubber composition for tires is obtained by blending 100 pts.mass of a diene rubber containing 60-90 pts.mass of a natural rubber and/or a synthetic isoprene rubber and 40-10 pts.mass of a styrene-butadiene copolymer rubber with: 60-150 pts.mass of a filler comprising carbon black and/or silica; and 0.1-20 pts.mass of a thermoplastic resin obtained by copolymerizing styrene, indene and dicyclopentadiene.SELECTED DRAWING: None
