Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber composition for tire, which shows excellent wet grip performance, rolling resistance performance, wear resistance performance and mechanical strength when a tire is formed, and a pneumatic tire.SOLUTION: A rubber composition for tire containing a diene-based rubber, silica and a silane coupling agent, in which the diene-based rubber has an average glass transition temperature of the diene-based rubber of -50°C or higher, the diene-based rubber contains 10 to 50 mass% of an aromatic vinyl-conjugate diene copolymer, a content of silica is 30 to 80 pts.wt. relative to 100 pts.wt. of the diene-based rubber, and a content of the silane-coupling agent is 2 to 20 mass% to the silica, and a pneumatic tire that uses the composition. A rubber composition for tire contains an aromatic vinyl-conjugate diene copolymer that contains 8 mol% or lower of a vinyl structure, 75 mol% or lower of 1,4-trans structure and 17 to 90 mol% of 1,4-cis structure of repeating units derived from the conjugate diene compound, and a pneumatic tire.SELECTED DRAWING: None
