Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reconcile wet performance and rolling resistance at a high level and, simultaneously, to improve the processability on kneading in the silica- compounded rubber composition. SOLUTION: Tread rubber compositions comprises 100 pts.wt. diene based rubber, 40-90 pts.wt. silica, and 3-20 pts.wt. polyethylene glycol and, 10-75 pts.wt. out of the 100 pts.wt. diene based rubber being a 3,4-addition isoprene rubber.
