Abstract:
To provide a rubber composition having high grip performance and high abrasion resistance.
The composition comprises (A) 100 parts weight of a polymer composed of 50-90 wt.% of a styrene - butadiene rubber of a content of styrene units of 25-60 wt.% and 10-50 wt.% of an isoprene rubber of a content of 3,4- isoprene units of 60-90 wt.%, (B) 1-20 parts weight of a silane coupling agent, (C) 50-200 parts weight of carbon black, (D) 8 parts weight or less of silica and (E) 50-200 parts weight of a plasticizer, in a ratio of (C) to the combined amount of (C) and (D) of 95-100 wt.%.
